Hey everyone, I know I haven't been posting much lately. But I am still here. I check in on the forum as often as possible. Sometimes that's once or twice a day, but the past two weeks it's been more like once or twice a week.

About two weeks ago my Pap got really bad off ... he has been through alot (without going through all the details) and the family was really worried for him. So every day we were going to visit with him and to also keep Grandma company and give her comfort ... knowing that Pap wasn't doing well. Then a week ago on Sunday Pap passed away. So then came arrangments and viewings and funeral and so forth. So every single day for the past two weeks - we have been gone. Then came the 4th which is when we have our yearly family reunion, plus it's my husband's birthday. And then on top of all of that - I've been dealing with some sick goats plus all my other "usual stuff" (other animals, plants, family stuff, etc.).
So I've been really really busy and haven't had time to do much of anything. My house is a wreck and my daily routine is all out of wack ! I had to stop milking my dairy doe - Oreo (I was hoping to continue to milk her) ... because I just didn't find time in my schedule to milk her the past two weeks, so now she's been/being dried off. So things just haven't been working out lately. And now I'm still dealing with some sick goats. But thankfully things have calmed down enough that I can focus more on things here at home ... including my animals.

I just want you's to know that even if I don't post ... I am checking in here. I just don't always have time to post things. Just enough time to check in and make sure everything's running the way it should be ... and to check pm's. So if anyone needs me for something - feel free to pm me ... I check that each time I log on.

I hope everyone's enjoying your summer ! And that everyone's goats are doing well BIG Smile Keep me and my family and my animals (especially my sick goats) in your prayers please.

Julie if oreo isn't all the way dried off you can try uppping her feed a little and putting her on the stand and milk what she does have and keep massaging and milking even after her udder is empty that way you can stimulate her to produce more.

Julie - My condolences on your loss and thoughts with you with all you have going on.
You can also give Oreo raspberry leaves - it increases milk production.
